Award-winning Abacus to showcase complete accessible bathroom solutions at Kidz to Adultz South

Abacus Specialist Bathroom Solutions, the specialist manufacturer of accessible baths and bathrooms for families with disabled children, will be showcasing its complete range of services at Kidz to Adultz South.

Kidz to Adultz South, Tuesday 12th May 2026, 9:30am – 4:00pm, Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre (Gate F, GU14 6TQ). Free entry and parking. Stand G6.

Abacus is the leading choice in accessible baths, bathrooms and wet rooms for families purchasing privately or through Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs). At Kidz South, its friendly and understanding Product Assessment Managers will be explaining all the Abacus services and why it is a proven and trusted provider of enabled bathing.

From concept to completion, Abacus provides the total solution so families do not need to deal with multiple trades when embarking on a new bathroom project. Abacus delivers it all – from design and specification to plumbing, electrics, tiling, flooring, lighting, ventilation and provision of inclusive and adaptable sanitaryware. Wheelchair and hoist accessible bathrooms are part of this provision along with spaces that ensure easy transfers and safe handling of children with extra care needs. Visitors to the Abacus stand will be able to take away free literature that explains the bathroom provision process along with details on how Abacus helps with successful DFG applications. In addition to information regarding adapted wet rooms and bathrooms, two of the market-leading Abacus baths will be available for live demonstrations – the new Gemini MX and Libra.

The Gemini MX offers a breakthrough in versatility, support and comfort. Its new dynamic mattress, unique safety features, antimicrobial technology, optional therapy functions and dual lift technology combine to achieve a solution that won the ‘OT Show Best in Show Award’ when launched. With the MX, the user experience is enhanced and moving and handling is easier, ensuring the overall bathing process is positive, safer and more fulfilling.

Alongside the MX, the new Libra bath provides a solution that includes an integrated powered bather transfer seat. This seat also has the option of a powered leg lifter which means carers or bathers do not need to lift legs manually when being rotated into the bath – increasing safety if bather mobility and postural strength is limited.

Finally, as ever, all young visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to win a cuddly Abacus mascot Trevor the Turtle.
