Abacus to highlight complete accessible bathroom and bath expertise at Kidz North
Abacus Specialist Bathroom Solutions, the leading choice in specialist bathrooms and baths for disabled children, will be demonstrating its award-winning services at Kidz to Adultz North.
Kidz to Adultz North, Wednesday 3rd December 2025, 9:30am – 4:00pm, Exhibition Centre Liverpool,
Kings Dock, L3 4FP. Stand B1.

Accessible bathrooms and wet rooms
Abacus are the proven specialist in accessible bathing solutions for children and young adults with disabilities. They provide a complete bathroom and wet room service for families that are funding privately or through a Disabled Facilities Grant. By choosing Abacus, families and prescribing occupational therapists have peace of mind that vulnerable bathers will benefit from the safest, most inclusive designs that are future proofed and sustainable. Abacus baths can be incorporated into any bathroom design and two of these models, the popular Libra and Gemini MX, will be demonstrated on stand B1.
Gemini MX bath
The Gemini MX offers a breakthrough in versatility, support and comfort for semi-ambulant bathers. Its specialist mattress and unique dual lift technology combine to achieve a solution that won the ‘OT Show Best in Show Award’ when launched. The user experience is enhanced and moving and handling is easier, ensuring the overall bathing process is positive, safer and more fulfilling.
Libra bath
Alongside the MX, Abacus will be offering live demonstrations of the Libra bath. The Libra bath range, with bather transfer seats, includes fixed height and variable height models with the option to choose a built-in leg lift. This feature enhances the powered seat which lifts, rotates and lowers a bather into the bath. If an individual needs assistance to lift their legs over the side of the bath, the leg lift means a carer or relative does not need to help manually. This reduces the risk of back or muscle strain for the carer and increases dignity for the bather.
Education and assessment vehicles
Visitors to stand B1 will also be able to discover more about the Abacus demonstration vehicles that can be booked for client home assessments and CPD ‘Lunch ‘n’ Learn’ workshops for Occupational Therapists. These can be arranged, free of charge, to visit any location in the UK so Abacus baths can be trialled first hand.
The friendly Abacus team and mascot Trevor the Turtle are standing by to say hi!
