An Occupational Therapist’s view

The Libra is a bath that maximises independence and dignity for the more ambulant bather who is concerned about climbing into and out of the bath but where bathing is an important activity.  The new leg lift ensures that someone with reduced strength can still complete the transfer themselves without the need for a carer to help.

It’s the variability of the Libra range that provides the best outcomes, supporting someone who is otherwise independent, with or without the leg lifter, to the bather who requires a a level of care and their carers with the variable height.  These features maximise dignity, independence and posture during an activity that the person may otherwise stop engaging in.
