Scorpio Plus
For multi user situations a platform may be added to the Scorpio. The seat may be removed or rotated through 180 degrees to allow easier access for an ambulant transfer or portable hoist access.
This facility provides the option to bathe in a sitting position or recline on the platform and brings with it the opportunity to use a sling lifting hoist and remove the sling before bathing and an ambulant transfer onto the platform in addition to the facility to use the seat as a transfer system. The options available will be chosen to suit the needs of the bather together with the height adjustability of the bath to facilitate the carer working at an optimum height for care and safety. The level of the seat will be adjusted for low access or high clearance above the bath rim to address the needs of user groups.
The Scorpio Plus is a rising bath with platform, backrest with soft cover, adjustable height seat on a post, bath filler tap and pop up waste and all the benefits of the Pisces.
