Scorpio Fixed Height
Where there is no requirement for a variable height bath the Scorpio Fixed Height is the solution.
The height may be selected at the outset to suit the transfer system and the carer. The seat lowers to within 250mm off the base of the bath. The operation and ambulant transfer is achieved by setting the seat at a convenient height of the bather. The seat is raised above the height and turns through 90 degrees to face the tap end of the bath. The seat is then lowered into the bath and bathing commences. On completion of bathing the seat and bather are raised out of the water and the bather may be dried prior to transfer from the seat. During this operation the carer is working at a convenient height from which to provide care to the bather in a safe and relaxed manner.
The Scorpio Fixed Height is a bath with an adjustable height seat on a post, bath filler tap and pop up waste.
