Leo
To address the needs of the bather who will be transferred from a wheelchair, the integral, powered hoist on the Leo is most effective.
The bather is raised with a sling and lowered into the water and the bath is raised to a height convenient for the carer to facilitate relaxed and safer operation during the bathing process.
When bathing is completed the bath is lowered and the bather raised to complete the transfer.
The Leo may be used as an ordinary raise and lower bath where the bather may access it in the usual manner or access may be achieved by a ceiling track or a portable hoist. In these circumstances the integral hoist may be removed or turned away from the bathing area.
The Leo is a rising bath with an adjustable height hoist arm, bath filler tap and pop up waste.
