Aquanova Scorpio 1700

The original rising bath with a rising seat launched by Abacus in 1994 and much copied, the Aquanova Scorpio have become the standard bath for assisted living in the Healthcare industry.

Where a seat transfer is preferred for the user/group the Scorpio is the perfect solution. Incorporating all the features of the Aries, the Scorpio has a seat transfer which may be traversed manually or uder power.

In operation the bath is filled with water to the depth required by the bather. The seat is adjusted to the transfer heigh required by the bather and locked in position for transfer. The bather transfer may be ambulant, from a wheelchair or hoisting from a mobile or ceiling track hoist.

At the touch of a button the seat is raised, traversed and lowered into the bath of water. The bath is raised to a safe, comfortable height for the Carer and bathing commences.

When bathing is complete the bath is lowered and the seat and bather are lifted from the bath and transferred.

The Scorpio may be used without the seat, as an Aries in multi occupation situations where some bathers can access the bath without the assistance of the seat.
